Job Description
Requirements
- Structural Design: Utilize engineering principles and software tools to develop detailed designs for steel structures / RCC structure, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate structural design projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, other engineers, and project stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and address design challenges.
- Analysis: Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools to assess the integrity, stability, and safety of designs. Identify and resolve any structural deficiencies or issues.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including calculations, drawings, and specifications. Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, and adheres to industry standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Implement quality control processes to deliver high-quality designs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, codes, and regulations. Implement best practices and seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in structural design processes.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and address any concerns. Maintain positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in steel structure, RCC design.
- Proficient in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work in Kolkata, India.
Experience
4+ years in Steel Structure Design Or RCC
Salary and Benefits
The compensation package for this role ranges from 5 to 9 lakhs per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
